OMG, Finally The Dark Knight!

There are just a few days left to the premiere(In the U.S) of the "new" Batman movie The Dark Knight. The movie has been talked about so much so you can barely talk about it as a "new" film. I think I've been longing for this picture in about 2 years. Ever since I saw that my, back then, new favourite actor Heath Ledger would participate in the new Batman film. It was precisely after I'd discovered Brokeback Mountain, my all-time favourite movie.

When it was revealed that Ledger would take the part of The Joker, almost everyone was knocked over by the surprising news. Heath Ledger was mostly famous of doing calm and/or quiet parts in movies. But when I saw the first trailer from the movie, I sort of stayed quiet for a few minutes because of the phenomenal... Stuff Heath Ledger did! It was just amazing! In the trailer!!! Then I started to think... "Well, if his acting in that trailer for about a minute or so was so good, how good will the movie get, then!?".


Heath Ledger's death was a chock to me like to everyone else. It's hard for you to understand, but I've never experienced something like that before, never felt such loss. Even although I didn't know Mr. Ledger of course. But I loved him like a teenage girl loves her icons! I'll never forget the 22nd of January 2008, that's for sure. But enough about poor Heaths death. R.I.P!

When I read in the newspapers here in Sweden that Heath Ledger probably will get an Academy Award® nominee posthumously, it was no surprise! Even though I've not seen the movie yet. But the thing is that I can get too excited about this so I'll be disappointed afterwards, but hell no! Every single person here on the net talks about Heaths stunning performance, I don't think anyone will get disappointed!
